Lochan Tree...No 3028

I took a trip up to Rannoch Moor yesterday because it looked like a decent day, as i started the run down from Ben Dorain i could see a dusting on Black Mount so happily I hurried along. this is what I found, the tree which has graced this Lochan na h'Achlaise for years had finally been blown down by the high winds of the season, the icon of Scottish landscapers has gone for good until a new one grows.
A sad discovery after the delight of some snow.
